Acceptable Use Policy

rignu gives you contact details for newly registered carriers. This policy sets out how you may use them. It applies to every export, API pull and record you view in the product.

This page is plain-language placeholder copy provided for product completeness. Have qualified legal counsel review and adapt it before you rely on it commercially.

1. Business-to-business outreach only

Exported records may be used to contact motor carriers about your own products and services in a business context. They may not be used for consumer marketing, political messaging, fundraising, recruitment spam, or any purpose unrelated to the carrier's transportation business.

2. Calls and text messages

Calls and SMS to numbers in our data are subject to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, FCC rules, state telemarketing statutes and the National and state Do Not Call registries. Many carriers register with a personal mobile number, so treat every number as potentially a wireless personal line.

You are responsible for scrubbing numbers against the applicable Do Not Call registries and your own internal suppression list before dialing or texting, for honoring opt-out requests immediately, for observing permitted calling hours in the recipient's time zone, and for obtaining any prior express written consent required before using an autodialer, prerecorded message or ringless voicemail. rignu does not provide consent, does not scrub numbers for you, and provides no representation that any number may lawfully be dialed.

3. Email

Commercial email sent to addresses in our data must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and any applicable state or non-U.S. equivalent. That means accurate header and sender information, non-deceptive subject lines, identification of the message as an advertisement where required, a valid physical postal address, a working unsubscribe mechanism, and honoring opt-outs promptly.

Do not upload rignu records to a shared or purchased sending list, and do not use them in a way that violates your email service provider's terms.

4. Redistribution

You may not resell, republish, license, syndicate or otherwise make rignu exports available to third parties as data. You may use records internally and with service providers acting on your behalf who are bound by equivalent restrictions. Building a competing carrier list product from rignu output is prohibited.

5. Suppression and complaints

If a carrier asks you to stop contacting them, suppress them permanently across all channels. If a carrier asks to be removed from rignu entirely, tell them to contact us and we will suppress the record in our index.

6. Technical abuse

Do not scrape the product, share credentials, circumvent plan export caps, automate the interface to extract records beyond your plan, or attempt to access records or accounts that are not yours.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, throttle or suspend exports, and terminate accounts. Serious or repeated violations, particularly unlawful calling or emailing, may result in immediate termination without refund.
